Announcing the Submission Deadline for Issue VIII: Sforzando

Songbirds, our reading period for the sforzando issue closes today! Thank you so very much for sending us your threat-graced, brutal & choking poetry, prose, music, & art over the past year. Every reading period we are stunned anew at the incredible talent & incisive voice of this community, & we are infinitely grateful now & always to all of you who laid your art bare for us.

As always, if you submitted within the last week of the Issue VIII reading period, please allow us two weeks from today to come back to you with a final decision. You are the lifeblood of Half Mystic, & we can’t wait to lay out all the pieces of this sharp & mouth-soaked collection, watch it come together with your work as harmony.
